We were very surprised when we discovered this artist from Ireland. We are talking about Joe Lington and his release WTPA is what the modern RnB scene really needs. We loved the fact that the release is half French and half English. This peculiar aspect really differentiates the tracks from everything you might listen to around. Also, Joe’s vocals nuances comes out during his performance, making the tracks an incredible experience.
TOBY TOMTOM – “Black Swan”
Let’s fly to the United States for this next one. This incredible artist really loved mixing different genres creating an avant-garde track like no other. We are talking about Toby Tomtom who recently released the track Black Swan. The vocals are incredibly well recorded and also presented in different forms with some peculiar effects. The rhythm of the track resembles the modern trap genre while adding some more industrial and dark pop elements that make the track really stand out.
LA BICHE – “Éther”
We are closing this edition with a very special track. For this last one, we are flying directly to Paris in France. La Biche just delivered an extremely passionate and mesmerizing track called Éther, an alternative pop track that will make you fall in love with La Biche’s voice. The performance sounds very mysterious yet enticing. While the instrumentation might sound minimal, this is full of ear candies and follows perfectly the vocals, elevating them and creating the perfect pathos during the track.
