HYPERSPACE: Best Discoveries of the Week – Episode Forty
Get ready for the Hyperspace Jump.
Can you believe it? That’s our fortieth Hyperspace!! Usually when someone hits forty starts to worry about his life and has a midlife crisis. We do not, Hyperspace does not. In this case, we age with style, and the bigger the number the better.
The fact that we had forty Hyperspace articles means two things: the universe is full of great musicians out of this world, and that there is a lot more to discover. Let’s add a third as well, which is thanks to all the people that read our blog, that we are able to do more of these articles. Cheers to that.

MIRON – “Long Nails”
Let’s travel to Paris, France, to find an emerging singer/songwriter with a very remarkable style: we give a warm welcome to Miron! This incredibly talented artist brings us his 4th release called “Long Nails”, an electronic 80s disco vibes tune that will bring us back in time with its retro style along with analog arpeggiators and some pretty unique vocals!
ELDON LOBLEIN – “Chrysanthemum”
It’s time to introduce a phenomenal artist from the UK, Eldon Loblein and his original style, which consists of experimenting with modern sound design and orchestral pieces.
One of his latest tunes called “Chrysanthemum” is a very unique music production that mixes different genres, bringing a futuristic sound combined with landscapes sounds and organic fxs.
PRONTACORDE – “Music Of My Life”
We are now headed to Mexico City to meet the incredible ProntaCorde and his solo project, bringing us his unique style which is a blend of different genres spacing from funk, disco, jazz and electronica. His latest album “Music Of My Life” is definitely what we call a masterpiece, with its groove and spectacular vibes we are pretty sure you’ll have a wonderful journey with this one!
LARK – “Im With You”
Enchanting singer and songwriter Lark brings us some needed fresh summer vibes with her powerful voice. This incredibly talented artist from Australia has just released her tune called “I’m With You”, a dance-pop song that will surely put you in a good mood with its energetic vibes and beautiful melodies, along with its explosive and remarkable choruses!
KINDUR – “Coins”
Kindur is definitely one of the most prominent artists from the UK this year, with his innate talent we’ll definitely hear his name around more often in the future. His latest tune “Coins” is an extremely unique track that mixes some electronica with hip-hop, trap, and rap, giving life to this kind of hybrid genre that we never heard before. This track was in collaboration with other artists, and we are excited to see what he’ll come up with next.
ERIC TANO – “Past Lovers”
We are thrilled to introduce this upcoming artist especially because we fell in love with his sound and his astounding vibes: we give a warm welcome to Eric Tano, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Tallahassee, US. His latest tune “Past Lovers” got us deeply, with its intriguing retro style and its catchy vocals we can’t really stop listening to this dream pop sensation. Amazing!

We traveling to Norway now to meet another incredible artist with a unique style and creativity: we introducing you to the outstanding Georg Oskar! This self-produced artist is definitely one of a kind and his latest release “I´m A Failure” will definitely show you what we’re talking about. This avant-garde composition will blow your mind with its breakbeat groove and its distinctive electronic sound design!

We always spot incredible talents in Australia, and today we found a really great singer and songwriter that lifted our souls with her incredible voice: let’s introduce Em Ly with her first single of 2023 called “Sunlight”. This wonderful pop tune has a clean mix and a solid production, featuring beautiful musical arrangements and outstanding vocals. Get ready to dream with this!
KAT – “Rise”
Kat is an incredibly talented artist from London, UK, and her voice is definitely one of a kind with her remarkable style. Her latest tune “Rise” is her first release of 2023: a beautiful acoustic pop tune with breathtaking storytelling. The song features acoustic guitars with piano and strings along with the outstanding Kat’s vocals that will surely touch your heart with its beautiful melodies and harmonies!
ALEX KLB – “Escape”
We are headed to the Netherlands now, and here we’ll find an outstanding independent music producer that will help us travel into the hyperspace with his stunning retro sound: we are talking about Alex KLB, drawing inspiration from genres like synthwave, post-rock, and atmospheric music, Alex brings us his great release called “Escape”. Powerful retro track, we are already in a loop mode on Spotify!
LIBERATI – “Famous”
We are incredibly excited to have with us Liberati, a talented musician, singer/songwriter from Malibu, US. This guy has already a solid fanbase, we don’t wonder why as we got completely raptured by his latest tune “Famous”, a synthpop production with a powerful sound, lush synths and remarkable vocals reminding us of the legendary “The 1975”. Pretty addictive tune, rest assured!
CAS DU PREE – “London”
Cas Du Pree is a talented Dutch singer/songwriter here to bring us a fresh wave of alternative pop with his latest tune “London” with its soft touch and its beautiful feel-good melodies. This song gives a mix of feelings and emotions that Cas Du Pree wants to express through storytelling lyrics and a clever musical arrangement made of groovy percussions, electric guitars, acoustic pianos, and remarkable trumpets!
MARA LIDDLE – “Oversharing”
Mara Liddle is an upcoming artist, singer and songwriter from the UK that has a very unique sound, definitely the kind of style that will get stuck in your head after you listen to it.
After we heard her latest release “Oversharing”, we couldn’t stop thinking about it: this alternative pop production has an overwhelming instrumental and the singular vocals of Mara make this tune unforgettable.
LIAM J EDWARDS – “Better Off”
Introducing now another talented artist from the UK, an outstanding singer/songwriter ready to shake us with a powerful voice: let’s welcome Liam J Edwards that brings us an alternative retro pop tune called “Better Off”. This song has an amazing feel-good mood, with its 80s vibes combined with Liam’s vocals the song takes an incredible twist, making it unique in its genre!
GENEVIEVE SOVEREIGN – “Present Dreams (feat. Ben Tenison)”
We know that Australia always has some great talents to discover, and today it brings us once again a stunning artist from Melbourne: Genevieve Sovereign, a wonderful singer/songwriter that teamed up with gold producer Ben Tenison to give life to her latest release “Present Dreams”: an electronic synthpop production with catchy and singular vocals that will let you dream with its unique style!
DOUBLE DETENTE – “LA BELLE EPOQUE”
This track is an incredible mixture of generations and styles. The song is made by the collaboration of three different artists/projects which are BENNY B, old school rappers DEM-K and K-DEM from DOUBLE DETENTE and MALENA. “La Belle Epoque” is a very groovy track and has that 70s funky vibes that we really dig. The chorus is one of the catchiest we listened to so far and you are definitely gonna have a wonderful time listening to this electro-funk/rap track.
WINNIE GOTMILK – “Music For Bunnies”
Now, let’s fly to Poland for this next incredible project. The album “Music For Bunnies” really got us unprepared for how good it could be. Winnie Gotmilk is the mastermind behind this amazing full-length, which features other 15 musicians on it. Very eclectic, jumping from ambient to lo-fi, a bit of trap, and incredibly chill landscapes. The main theme is very calm, and you will love this one as well if you are up for some chill vibes.
SPY FROM MOSCOW – “Soldier Song”
It’s time for some meditative vibes, together with Spy From Moscow. Directly from London, we have this soothing acoustic track called Soldier Song. We had such a wonderful time listening to this track. Imagine listening to this once you finished working and you want some time for yourself with this song in the background. The track has also some crescendo grunge moments we really dig, don’t miss this one.
NORRISETTE – “Weird Party”
Norrisette just released an incredible EP called Weird Party. We loved the name of it, and it also introduces you to what you’re going to listen to. That’s an avant-garde electronic release, with some of the most unexpected sounds you could expect from a song. We loved the experimentation layered with some incredibly solid drum patterns. The mix is incredible and we are sure you are going to dig this as much as we did.
KUTE JUERGENS – “Good Good Lovin”
One of our favorite places in the world related to music is definitely Berlin. This amazing city now offered us this great artist called Kute Juergens. His latest release is called “Good Good Lovin” and we definitely need some positive vibes and danceable vibes from a track. The bass is pretty groovy and this dance funk track just came to us with some amazing remixes, that showcase how much this song can be good mixed with heavier electronic layers. Seriously the vocals are too good, if you’re into Jamiroquai and Disco Funk, do yourself a favor and go listen to it.
