HYPERSPACE: Best Discoveries of the Week – Episode Four

That’s already our forth Hyperspace article and we brought to you some amazing artists from all over the world, with music that’s definitely out of this world.
Here today, we are of course flying again around the globe over the speed of light, showcasing the best discoveries of this week. So, without further ado…
Fasten your seatbelt and get ready to jump over Speedlight.

JAKLIU – “Bluey Orange”
JAKLIU is a self taught multi-instrumentalist based in Dublin, Ireland. He aspires to create a transportive and organic sound inspired by the stagnation and instability of early adulthood.
He just released today his latest and second single “Bluey Orange”, a tender, summer jam, peppered with soft vocal chops and organic percussive elements. This tune is about “the art of staying grounded in your own mind, while the world races past”.

YAN SIMON – “Living In The Night”
Excited to have with us an incredible singer and songwriter based in Toronto, Canada. The extremely talented independent pop artist Yan Simon defines his genre as Pop music for the Theatre Kids. Inspired by timeless visionary
artists such as ABBA, Lady Gaga, and Freddie Mercury, Yan Simon creates a unique pop sound that can be described as decadent and theatrical. His latest release “Living The Night” is an upbeat tune with a charismatic character and remarkable toplines, followed by solid storytelling lyrics!

GLU – “MEDACIN%”
The next music project we are going to present to you is called GLU, ans he is an artist based in Australia, and he came up with some incredible tune called “MEDACIN%”. This song packs thumping 808s with reverse samples to create a psychedelic rap track in glu‘s unique style.
Following the release of his recent EP ‘hot glu gun’, MEDACIN% picks up where the EP left off, bringing high energy perfect for an underground rave or moshpit.

MOON AND ARIES – “BREAK THE MATRIX (Episode One)”
Moon And Aries are back with their latest project “Break The Matrix”, and we are excited to listen to this EP that will surely bring us into another dimension! With a total of 3 songs with a fusion of synthwave, retrowave, trip hop and soul, the dynamic duo have brought a slightly
new vibe to their classic Synth Pop Opera sound. Expect music that is a little more confidential and closer to their chest.

ADUB NATI – “C.N.N. (Correction Needed Now)”
Alrick L.J. Warner better known by his stage name Adub Nati is an American songwriter/ rapper. He’s in the music industry with his first album in 2015.
He’s back now with his brand new one called “C.N.N.”, a masterpiece of 8 tracks that will definitely keep you entertained with solid lyrics and some incredible flow, with groovy old-school hip-hop beats, this artist will bring in some nostalgic vibes to your speakers.

LUKX – “Sunny”
Lukx is the result of a father and son duo production team. Based in Belgium they mix French and English lyrics, blending Hip-Hop/Rap and Pop genres. You will find a chill catchy emotion coming straight from a father and son collaboration.
Their latest release “Sunny” is a phenomenal track (in collaboration with other artists) that will bring a big smile to your face thanks to the happy vibes this tune is able to release.

DESMOND PARSON – “Love You For Life”
DESMOND PARSON is an incredible multitalented artist, and his marvelous skills are numerous. This lad is extremely good at fusing R&B and Neo Soul styles and “Love You For Life” is one of his latest tracks: a feel-good spring/summer song that puts the singer’s partner on a pedal stool for being amazing.
This song is heavily influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. So if you’re a fan of this genre of music, you will dig Desmond’s music for sure.

JAY DOCE – “51HOME”
Jay Doce is a young artist, singer and songwriter from Hayward, California. He fell in love with music at a young age, always writing songs in his head. Jay’s biggest influences in his music come from the East Bay Area, where he fell in love with the local music scene.
His latest EP called “51Home” features 6 Hip-Hop tracks, each one with a different style and solid flow, Jay Doce’s music is ready to hit your car speakers!

YELGO7 – “Hala Bikom”
Combining his full name with his favorite number, Yelgo7 creates his own unique blend of hip hop mixed with other genres such as EDM, alternative rock, & reggae. His latest release called “Hala Bikom” is an upbeat-sounding trilingual track meant to bridge cultures from around the world.
Inspired by The Weeknd’s After Hours Album, he utilized a retro 80s beat with synths to bring the listener back in his latest single titled “Central Park,” which is his first attempt at writing pop music.

ALLIE JASON – “Best Thing That I Ever Did”
Allie Jason is a 27 year old singer-songwriter, producer/engineer, and performer, from Massachusetts. Her latest release “Best Thing I Ever Had” is a daydreamy vibe production mixed with heartbreak alongside empowerment making it a track worth listening to.
This piece could be something many can relate to, especially anyone who is trying to, or finally left a toxic connection, whatever it may be.

THE OTHER COLORS – “Oups”
The next artist comes directly from the beautiful capital of France, Paris indeed. Che’s called Marie Moor, and she just released a tune called Oups.
That’s a very peculiar track, mainly electronic, filled with Marie’s peculiar melody and storytelling, all in french. this donates a particular flavor to the track, making this mysterious and passionate accompanied by mesmerizing instrumentals, which would sound perfectly in A David Lynch movie.

MADDY STORM – “Forced Extrovert”
Maddy Storm, producer, and singer-songwriter from Manchester, just released her biggest release to date, called “Forced Extrovert”.
That’s an EP that explores different genres, and in all of them Maddy is able to always sound comfortable and she can really master her craft. She also produced everything on her own in her bedroom, and to us, it all sounds super-notch. A hyper-pop EP with some trap-inspired moments that sounds extremely anthemic, don’t miss it.

JACKSON VINCENT – “Normal Tension”
Directly the from United States, this artist can really convey a melancholic feeling with his tunes. he is called Jackson Vincent, and indeed he announces that his music is music for ghosts.
Jackson, for his last release called Normal Tension, was able the merge different genres effortlessly, he indeed was able to bring folk elements and alternative lo-fi elements to create some very peculiar tunes that sound new yet nostalgic. That’s his second EP, yet it seems he already crafted a song of how own, a must-listen!

CHRIS CAULFIELD FT. STELLA GREY – “Walls Come Down”
Chris Caulfield just released a new tune called “Walls Come Down“. An extremely heartfelt performance on this one, the emotions surround you through the tune.
Chris comes straight from Toronto, Canada, with this trap-inspired song, that on top of the melancholic beats pours his feeling about his relationship with his wife. the peculiarity is that also the wife, Stella Grey, is present in the track. Such an emotional tune.

CLARE EASDOWN – “YOUR EYES ARE ICE”
And for the next artist, we fly over Australia, bringing to you Clare Easdown. Her new track is called “Your Eyes Are Ice“. We literally felt frozen listening to Clare’s stunning voice.
The track is extremely passionate and charming, and the sound of the guitar riff makes you dive underwater into another realm full of lust and desire. A hypnotic tune with some trap inspiration you should absolutely go listen to.

NICKELSON – “Down For The Under (Nickelson Remixes)”
That’s our last artist for today, which we are very pleased to present to you. Here we teleported directly to Louisville, United States. He is called Nickelson and his last remixes for the music project JK Maybry and the Maybes are like nothing you’ve ever heard.
The song Nickelson did a remix is from JK Maybry and the Maybes and it is called “Down For The Under“, and on this remix, Nickelson was able to merge two really different genres like deep house and blues. The trumpets sound very hypnotic over the drum beat and kick that creates a particular groove typical of the DJ set but adds that live feeling that makes it stand over other house remixes. Extremely danceable track.
