HYPERSPACE: Best Discoveries of the Week – Episode Twentyfive

Again, this week we are back with a very precious bounty, we found in some nebulas very far away from earth. We are now just landed and we are here to present to you some tracks that are out of this world.
We always search for something you might not expect, peculiar sounds, sound design and melodies. The universe is filled with songs we still need to find and hear, but let’s enjoy today’s bounty for now.

COLLEEN RENNISON – “Means To An End”
Colleen Rennison is an incredibly talented singer and songwriter from Vancouver, Canada, and she brings us her latest release called “Means To An End”: a melancholic and nostalgic tune literally ripped from her diary, as she says, sitting in the realization that the best has come and gone. Colleen’s stunning voice will keep you company with this wonderful tune this evening, enjoy!

VNXA – “Red”
We are extremely excited to present you VNXA and her incredible “one of a kind” style of music, after releasing the debut single in January, this artist is back with a brand new song called “Red”, to stay in theme with this Valentine’s week. This song is about the obsession that follows heartbreak, and finally crossing the threshold from passionate to indifferent once it’s time to let go. Don’t miss out!

SARA DE SANCTIS – “Tardi Adesso”
Sara De Sanctis is a phenomenal Italian musician, singer and songwriter based in London, UK. Passionate about piano, she brings it into her music flawlessly, and we can feel it with her latest release “Tardi Adesso”: an alternative/cinematic pop tune that reminisces artists like Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone, this tune will definitely get you emotional, that’s for sure!

YAOKAY – “Realize”
Let’s introduce Yaokay, a wonderful artist and musician that has just released his first brand-new EP “Realize” containing 4 tunes. The style of this album is pretty relaxed, navigating into lo-fi beats with nostalgic and melancholic feelings, and lyrics that deal with growing up, falling in love, dealing with social anxiety, and finding a place in the world.

We are thrilled to introduce a promising artist from France, an incredibly talented singer/songwriter, musician and composer: let’s give a warm welcome to Ettash.

ALEXIA VEGAS – “Calling Of The City”
Alexia Vegas is a wonderful singer and songwriter from New York, USA, and her unique style has also been shared through big industries such as Netflix and Apple TV, and we don’t wonder why, ‘cause we know that her release “Calling Of The City” is definitely one of these tunes that we hear on the radio or in the movies. This is a very catchy bedroom pop tune, don’t miss out!

HUNTER – “I’ve Been Looking”
Hunter, definitely a name that will be impressed in your mind for a while, this incredible artist from Chicago has a style like no other. His sound will let you dive into your deepest feeling and emotions with outstanding vocals and sick instrumentals. His latest release “I’ve Been Looking” is exactly what we have been looking for all this time, and we can assure you won’t be disappointed. 10/10.

NATALIE CLARK – “How High”
You might have heard of Natalie Clark before, this incredibly talented artist is the new Scottish indie-pop sensation and she’s bringing us a powerful feel-good tune called “How High”: a stirring, emotionally uplifting track that features layers of harmonies and earthy, hypnotic rhythms, combined to beautiful angelic vocals and bright lyrics, this track will warm up your mood.

AUXR – “Plastic Love”
Veteran producer AUXR is here to bring us some great vibes, thanks to his 15 years of experience in the Nudisco/Italo music scene. His latest release “Plastic Love” is a Down-tempo electronic tune that features smooth, timeless vocals courtesy of talented singer Stina: a chilled, warm Trip-Hop track that will seduce you with its charming style. CHAD LEWINE – “Dark Nights”
Incredible artist Chad Lewine brings us a fresh wave of music with his distinctive sound, fusing early 2010s trap-based EDM and industrial pop of the 80s and 90s with the music technology of today. His latest release “Dark Nights” got us impressed: a powerful and extremely catchy tune with feel-good vibes and a vocal performance that gives you goosebumps.


SPITTY – “Not For Me”
Spitty is an incredible hip-hop artist from Brampton, Canada, and he strives to motivate others through his music. Unafraid to speak his mind, Spitty’s music covers all topics from politics to capitalism to existentialism, while also never shying away from any commercial or experimental record. His release “Not For Me” caught us off-guard with its remarkable sound and flawless vocal lines, making this tune an absolute hit for this year.

ROBBE – “Bloody Mary”
Robbe is a young EDM artist and DJ from Helsinki, Finland, here on SpaceSour to open the dancefloor with the help of JOKA and Syzzix teaming up on a hardstyle cover of “Bloody Mary” by Lady Gaga. After this tune went viral on TikTok, we don’t really wonder why as this tune will literally pump you up with its powerful drops: such a great remix from these guys!

ANTHONY BENJAMIN – “Home Again”
For this one, we are flying to London, United Kingdom. We are also traveling back to the past. Specifically to the 80s, some of the best sounds and synths were made during this time, and we have to thank Anthony Benjamin to keep this very distinctive sound alive.
His last track is called Home Again, an uplifting tune that will help through tough times, but it is also a great electro-pop tune companion for the most shiny days.

SILLYKING DENNY – “I Dunno”
The next tune we are going to present to you comes from rapper and singer Sillyking Denny. This artist comes from Kansas City and his last track I dunno just came out recently.
We loved Sillyking Denny’s peculiar vocal style, almost humming yet bringing an interesting melody, catchy for the ear. The beat perfectly fits the vibes, and the 808 gives the right groove together with the organ/keys chord progression.

THY VEILS – “Upstream”
This project is gonna make you wow pretty easily. We present you Thy Veils, a very interesting electronic project with some thrilling cinematic vibes.
The last song you can listen to from this project is called Upstream. The track has an incredible sound design, filled with outstanding vocals and wind instruments. The project comes from Romania but already sounds international. Do not miss this one.

HANNAH DORMAN – “Wild”
Pop tunes become harder to make year by year. Anyway, it seems like for Hannah Dorman that’s a very easy task. Indeed her last tune is incredibly catchy, with a very top-notch production.
The song we are going to present to you today is called Wild, an electro-pop track with some funky and dance vibes. The guitars are an amazing add to the track and merge perfectly with Hannah’s astounding performance.

DAX – “The Devil’s Calling”
“The Devil’s Calling” and Dax is back to deal with it. That’s indeed the name of the song we are going to present to you today from one of the most incredibly talented rappers in the game. What we love about Dax is his amazing video productions also for this one, he prepared a music video that you can watch by clicking here. We are sure Dax is making a difference and his rise is unstoppable, and this track proves that.
