HYPERSPACE: Best Discoveries of the Week – Episode Twentysix
Get ready for the Hyperspace Jump.
Here we are at the end of February with some more new tunes to show you. That’s also our last article for February, sigh…, but that’s not our fault. We didn’t choose to make February so short. Actually we checked in other planets, and we are the only planet with such a short month.
That’s a shame because it means fewer Fridays for Hyperspace. But don’t worry, today we have the best selection of music around, as always anyway, so don’t waste any time and go check these tunes now.

HENKA – “Fading Out”
Henka is a brand new project created by Cat Pereira, this incredible artist brings us her unique alternative pop sound with catchy melodies and powerful beats.
Her new single “Fading Out” talks about going through the painful process of healing after heartbreak and it brings something new to the table, with an impressive neat instrumental and a wonderful music video, this modern synthpop tune is a wonderful experience.

BETHAN LLOYD – “No Umbilical”
Welsh artist Bethan Lloyd is a singer and songwriter whose trance-inducing vocals expand over an ocean of rave-inspired production, harmonic layering, and mystical ecstasy. Her sound is an experimental pop genre with a dark twist on it, and her latest release “No Umbilical” takes her intense explorations of the spirit and emotional realms and blends them into something playful and danceable.

Noel Johnson NDJ – “Get It Wrong”
Incredible artist Noel Johnson NDJ is here to bring us his great sound made of synthesizers and drum machines, with a bit of the nostalgia era and some melancholic vibes.
“Get It Wrong” is his latest release: a wonderful tune where the gentle and rhythmic vocal floats on top of the musical dreamscape, presenting an abstract lyrical vision of the precious refuge of companionship.

A.R.B. – “Magic In You”
A.R.B. is an incredible artist, producer, and DJ from Canada, USA, and his style varies from trance, techno, and EDM music: he definitely got everything for all dance music lovers!
His latest release “Magic In You” made us move like crazy with its solid rhythm and catchy sounds, making this tune one of our favorites of all time with its impressive and remarkable drops!

Red Skies Mourning – “A Beautiful Mess”
Red Skies Mourning literally never misses one, after being with us in one of our Best of The Moon edition, he’s back with another track called “A Beautiful Mess”.
This time, he’s introducing different genre elements in his tunes, twisting his style into an alternative hip-hop vibe: a dreamy mood track with marvelous vocal lines, this tune is definitely remarkable.


JULIAN PETRIN – “Are We Ok?”
Julian Petrin has been with us in previous Hyperspace articles, for those who don’t know this outstanding artist this is definitely the right opportunity to discover his sound with his latest release “Are We Ok?”. This is an incredible early 80s synthpop tune that features beautiful melodies that give an intensely emotional mood and some powerful vibes, don’t miss this out!

REFRAKT (NY) – “False Memories”
REFRAKT is an incredible music producer and DJ based in New York, USA. His style features sounds and melodies that dive into a hypnotic mixture of dark disco, melodic techno, and world beats, transporting the listener through modulations and feedback loops.
Fasten your seatbelt and get ready to depart for a surreal experience with his latest EP “False Memories”.

Layan Jishi – “After Dark”
Get ready for the hard sound of Layan Jishi: this incredible artist, music producer and songwriter will hit you with his dark-pop/alternative-pop style.
His latest EP “After Dark” is a very emotion-based package, with a focus on cinematic and experimental production. This stunning project tells a story, and we are sure that many people could relate to his lyrics.

DAS ELITE – “Landslide”
DAS ELITE is an amazing Swedish producer who has been working with many international golds and platinum-selling artists over the years, releasing now his brand new EP called “Landslide”. Influenced by bands like Depeche Mode and Massive Attack, this incredible project brings incredibly emotional soundscapes featuring stunning electronic elements and beautiful vocals.

OLLA – “Monte Carlo”
Get ready to be blown away by the outstanding voice of Olla, a magnificent singer and songwriter from Monaco, Montecarlo, after a break with music she finally released her first single on Spotify called “Monte Carlo”. This is a pop-Latin-driven tune featuring catchy guitars, solid drums, and of course, the outstanding vocals of Olla: the perfect chill tune to get ready for your evening. MOON AND ARIES – “Break The Matrix (Episode Three)”
We want to welcome again Moon And Aries, the duo that has been giving us plenty of emotions with their sound, we are excited to present you their final chapter EP “Break The Matrix” which will close their trilogy project. This time we have a fairy-dreamy/retro style with an up-tempo fusion of electro-pop, electro-house, dance, trip-hop and trance: this ep is a pack of 3 stunning songs that will bring us into the universe for another time.

JULIET CALLAHAN – “Spotlight”
Juliet Callahan is not just a singer, she’s an outstanding artist, songwriter and producer from Los Angeles, USA, and she brings us an incredibly unique style. Her latest release “Spotlight” is a blend of alternative pop with a touch of trap thrown into the mix, inspired by Rihanna and Britney Spears‘ high-energy tracks. The song talks about loving yourself and embracing who you are while letting go of negative energy. Don’t miss out!

THE DEAD BLUES CLUB X MONEÕ – “Party Tricks (Moneõ Remix)”
We love when a remix takes the original song in a new direction, and that’s what happened with the song Party Tricks made by The Dead Blues Club. The song has an amazing sound design and incredible production tanks to the craft of Moneõ who create an IDM and future track that’s out of this world.
The bluesy vocals have now a different meaning and the tracks create an uplifting yet mysterious atmosphere we really dig.

SAMBOX – “Road Trip”
Come on!! We all love road trips, and we know you love them too. The EP made by Sambox, takes you indeed on an amazing journey, a beautiful Road Trip, indeed the name of the EP, that you’ll never forget. The three tracks use the acoustic guitar in an incredibly clever and surprising way, the strings sections and rhythms are always engaging. The last track Kennet River instead is a more funky tune with some world music influences you’ll definitely enjoy.

DOMAX – “Volca”
Here we go again traveling to our favorite city in the world, London, to meet with an incredible artist that goes under the name Domax. His EP, recently released, is called Volca.
The EP, takes inspiration from many genres, including chillout, ambient, electronica and also some Synth Pop. The tracks are very chill yet incredibly groovy. This work reminded us of Aphex Twin but also the more recent Tycho, which definitely shares some vibes with.

TUJAY – “Wisteria Beat Tape”
Germany has an incredible music scene, especially in the electronic industry. This time we were really impressed by the last release made by Tujay. Rapper and producer with incredible songwriting talent, he just released the album Wisteria Beat Tape. That’s a dark trap album, with many influences going from Techno, House, and EDM.
You can definitely dig all these tracks on both a rave and club night. The perfect mix of electronic genres we love to listen to. Absolutely check this project out.
