Outer Space: Monthly Track Selection – Vol. 7
Welcome to the Outer Space!
We just passed August and we are near the end of the Summer. Anyway, This September is been really exciting for us, discovering some great artists you should absolutely listen to.
This past month there have been indeed some great releases so let’s prepare for this new round of fresh artists and let’s dig into their music straight away.
Let’s begin our Outer Space journey.
WERMZER – “Bombpop”
The first artist we are going to introduce to you is going to blow your mind with his latest release. His name is Wermzer, a producer and rapper directly from Mobile, United States, and his latest song is called Bombpop.
The production is incredibly interesting, merging different elements from Electronic Dance Music and Trap. Everything sounds super neat and his vibes reminded us a lot of Borgore. Wermzer lyrics are extremely funny, reminiscing some hip-hop humor brought up by music projects like Bloodhound Gang.
The bass on this one hit extremely hard, a mental sound design that will make you forget that song just started with a retro game-sounding intro. Wermzer sounds like no other artist, and he’s definitely here to stay in the game for the long-run.
DR SOUC – “The Universal Language”
Our second artist on the list is called Dr Souc, he’s a rapper from Milford United States, and he recently released his latest EP called “The Universal Language”.
We found this EP such an extremely solid production, with a consistent music theme that jumps from trap to hip hop and psychedelic rock. The element that made us wow the most was surely the guitar licks and solo on this one.
While the beats are made by K-Swisha. the guitars are recorded by Dr Souc‘s father. This created an amazing alchemy, in a mix of genres that sounds extremely catchy even though so distant from each other.
The perfect introduction for this project is for us “New Glasses” with his incredible guitar solo. Solos appear always more rarely in today’s productions, and hearing this was such a breath of fresh air.
MAX EDWARDS – “For Another”
Excited to present in this September’s Outerspace MAX EDWARDS, a young singer and songwriter from Vancouver, Canada, that recently released a stunning tune called “For Another”. This is an R&B/Pop production that left us speechless, a very high quality track that we hope to listen to the radio pretty soon.
This is the kind of song that is not enough to be listened just once, not even twice, instead we listened to this release in a loop mode around 20 times straight today.
The groovy drum beat and the faboulus strummed guitars go along together in a perfect manner, garnished with melodic plucks and topped up with catchy vocals, that’s exactly what we call a “banger”!
We think Max is a serious talent and this tune shows it off at its best, with a soft and masmeric timbre combined to clever lyrics we are pretty sure this artist will be one of your new favorites.
JULY – “Pokey Lights”
JULY is an incredibely talented British artist, singer, and songwriter, and his musical skills go above and beyond anything else, and he prooved it with with his latest release “Pokey Lights”, a dreamy R&B/Pop production that will get surely stuck in your mind for a while.
This tune has the unique July sound: incredible flow mixed to breathtaking vocal melodies, we wonder why this artist is not in the top 100 billboard yet.. Sick release that features minimal hip-hop drums, misty reverbered plucks and deep basses, just few elements that are enough to give space to July’s voice, which is where we want to focus on.
July is able to create melodies that you wouldn’t expect, the ability to hook your mind with captivating lyrics and keep your ears entertained for a fair amount of time. Make sure you also listen to this song with the official music video, links below!
