Space Review: Emma Kelly – “Loving You”
Welcome to Space!
Sharing today a young talent from the UK, with a super fresh melodic pop style, we present you Emma Kelly!
Emma was born in a small town in Surrey; exposed to music since she was a child thanks to her parents, she now found her own style after years of music-making.
A powerful voice with bittersweet lyrics and catchy hooks, combined with melodic electronic beats and groovy drum patterns, Emma’s music is something phenomenal and refreshing.
Her latest release “Loving You” released a few weeks ago is a stunning track about toxic relationships people find themself in, and the addiction to the mistakes we did but keep doing despite knowing what will happen.
The track starts with a cut-off filtered intro, groovy and melodic made with an impressive sound design.
Emma’s voice kicks in after the intro, calm and delicate. This part of the verse is very soft, with some nice percussion samples, the drumbeat keeps the rhythm of the tune going along with the vocal lines.
The song leads straight to the chorus after the verse: the rhythm of the hook is remarkable with brilliant and powerful voice character! It gets very groovy thanks to a melodic lead synth that plays along with the drums, giving the track an incredibly unique style.
The bridge is the breakdown part, with just some pads playing emotional chords and rhythmic plucks leading the rhythm, Emma’s voice once again keeps us entertained with her skills, reaching high vocal tones that give us goosebumps!
We can’t wait to hear more from this talent, for sure has so much to show off!
