Space Review: Last Island – “Let Stars Fall”
Welcome to Space!
Today We’ll share a track that was released 2 years ago and still today keeps giving us goosebumps!
Let’s introduce Last Island, a phenomenal artist from Scotland, he started to get known for his take on Porter Robinson – Fresh Static Snow back in 2015. His sound has evolved a lot over the years, where finally finds his focus on melodic EDM. “Let Stars Fall” is the track that we liked the most and we had to share it with you. The song starts with a nice designed sound, giving the track a kind of arcade touch and a quiet sadness; it keeps building the track
introducing rhythmic elements and beautiful pads, amazing edited vocal chops, and a chord progression that we loved so much, with an attention to detail out of this world.
The drop comes just right after, and that’s something you won’t expect, so clean and so powerful, it will blow your mind.
But that’s not all: the song will keep the beat after the drop, playing some soft pads and mellow plucks, with the help of the vocals the song will lead to a second drop which is more open, with more elements and stunning details.
We loved the “bridge” part, built with amazing leads that give the track a vintage feeling and energic percussion that keep the rhythm all over, leading then to the last drop. As we mentioned, the track is full of details and it always changes thanks to the elements added at the right time of the song, it will never leave you feeling bored. We highly recommend this track, listen through our playlist of the month Galactic Expedition.
See you at the next review,
