Space Review: Fire Jane – “Alien”
Welcome to Space!
Our guest today will be Fire Jane, a beautiful singer from Boston!
Angelic and tenacious voice, she collaborated with nice artists such as Klaas and Osman Altun, releasing some groovy and melodic tunes which we enjoyed a lot!
“Alien” is one of her latest releases which brings some dark and melodic EDM slap house vibes with powerful vocals:
The song has an ethereal and melancholic intro played by a bass-pad and the amazing vocalizes of Fire Jane, which make this intro very wide and interesting.
A clean drum beat joins the verse, strong kick, and crisp snare, this part is very rhythmic and the syncopated bass makes the track super groovy!
The vocal part is melodic and the intention is strongly felt. The lyrics tell a story here, it is a longing for affection between two outsiders, even if it’s against the odds.
It’s also about staying true to oneself and following his/her heart.
The track has a build-up that leads to a very bouncy drop, very groovy thanks to the bass and the bass-synths created with a nice sound design: The drop is very clean, it has few elements that leave space to this amazing voice, and the beat can push forward the track maintaining the excitement and sustaining the vocals.
The track is solid and enjoyable, a production of high quality which we liked a lot, this artist will be seen again with more releases scheduled for this and next year: follow and don’t miss out!
